Have you ever wanted to share a slideshow you’ve created on Facebook? With ProShow it’s easy and I’ll show you how it’s done in just a few steps. Follow along!
1. Open your show in ProShow Gold or ProShow Producer and click the Publish drop down menu, then select Facebook.
2. A window will pop up where you’ll select a few parameters and then upload.

We’re going to be breaking down certain scenes in the show to explain how they were made so you can do it yourself!
This week we’ll focus on the video colorization effect you see at about 1:34 into the video. A video appears on the screen and slowly turns from color to sepia while it’s playing.
One of the new organizational tools in ProShow 5 is the ability to Flag your slides. Using flags, you can add a visual reference to remind you that there is something about a slide that has earned special attention. Perhaps there’s an effect you really like, maybe it’s a great place in your show for a soundtrack change, or it could simply mark the place in your show where you paused to take a break.
One of the new enhancements in ProShow 5 is GPU Acceleration. With GPU, you’ll experience higher resolution playback in real time allowing you to see your photos, videos and slideshow previews in full HD resolution and beautiful clarity. (Ever experience a show stutter? Not anymore!) You’ll have the power to preview even the most complex effects in full screen, all without having to do any updates to your computer!
So, how does it all work? By offloading some of the heavy-lifting processing tasks to your computer’s GPU, ProShow is able to free up more resources to focus on optimizing the performance of video and display-related functions.
ProShow 5 comes fully equipped with all new effects, ready to be dropped into your shows. We’ve added tons of new slide styles, transitions, and even some new themes for ProShow’s wizard. Many of these new effects take advantage of ProShow 5′s cool new features like 3D tilt.

With ProShow 5′s new wizard, now you can now mix and re-mix any number of slides at any point during slideshow creation. Just select a group of slides in your show and click the Remix button on the top toolbar. The wizard will open right up and will run using just the slides you’ve selected!
And, if you’ve ever wanted to apply the same slide style to multiple slides at once…you finally can! The new effects manager in ProShow 5 lets you manage, apply and import effects so easily.
