Beautiful Timelapse Video of La Palma
Check out this awesome time-lapse video by photographer Maurice Toet. He traveled to La Palma to capture these amazing scenes of the night sky.
For acquiring the images a Canon 5D Mark II DSLR (21.1 MP full-frame) was used. This camera was astro-modified by Baader-Planetarium in Germany, increasing the hydrogen-alpha sensitivity. Lenses used were a Canon EF 24 – 70 mm f/2.8 L USM and Mamiya Sekor-C 210 mm. In several scenes, the camera pans to the right or to the left. This was done by mounting the camera on an motorised ‘Vixen Photoguider’ equatorial mount.
After thousands of images were captured, the entire project was created in ProShow Producer using super-short slide times and cut transitions!
