Show of the Week: PHHS Band Program

This week’s show comes from Jeff Peters, owner of Showography, a small business in Richmond, VA that specializes in multimedia slideshow creation.

The slideshow below was created for the Patrick Henry High School Band to help with fundraising initiatives and raise awareness about their program.

The team at Showography mixed photos, video interviews and voiceovers to create a professional fundraising video for the highschool. All edited and created in ProShow Producer.

Using Slideshows for an Easy Back to School Transition

Today’s post comes from Janet Souther, an ESL (English as a second language) teacher at the University of North Texas.

Summer is always a wonderful break for students and teachers alike, but when it’s time to get back into gear for school it can be a challenge to quickly motivate and energize my classroom.

This semester as my students come into the classroom, I’ll ask them all to bring some photos of what they’ve done over their break, whether it was a family trip, sightseeing or just spending some quality time at home.

Then, I plan to use all the photos in a slideshow that we can watch and share the experiences of each student’s summer activities with each other.
