Show of the Week: The Kalahari Desert

This week’s slideshow comes from photojournalist Dominique Schreckling. He’s shared his impressions from a three week trip in March 2010 around the Kalahari desert in southern Africa. The trip covered parts of Namibia, South Africa and Botswana and went through the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

“The end of the rainy season is ideal for having a lot of wildlife in the shots. Dust free air and wonderful cloud formations helped to get good photos. Enjoy the show!” – Dominique

Australian photography magazine just put together a spectacular how-to guide on exactly how to get those blurry water shots and the equipment and gear you need to get the perfect shot!
