How to Pin a ProShow Slideshow on Pinterest

Are you on Pinterest? We are and we’re obsessed! It’s an awesome site for creating curated lists of all your favorite things around the web. For photographers and slideshow creators, it can also be a great marketing tool to help promote you and your services.

Here’s how to post your ProShow slideshows on Pinterest.

  1. Create your slideshow in any ProShow tool.
  2. You’ll want to either output to YouTube or Vimeo. (ProShow Web users, you can pin a slideshow directly from your online account, click Watch> Share > Pinterest.)
  3. Once your video is output to YouTube or Vimeo, go to your account on Pinterest and click ‘Add Pin’ in the top right of the screen.
  4. Copy and paste the URL of your video that you uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo in the ‘Add Pin’ area. Then add a descriptive name and choose what board to add it to.
  5. HINT: If you output to YouTube, the URL you’ll want to copy and paste is found by clicking the ‘Share’ button under your video, then copying the URL that YouTube gives you. If you just use the URL from the web address bar, pinning won’t work.
